Are you missing the gold?
Successful product development is not just about making smart new products - it is equally important to develop robust and reliable products. Many companies find that it is expensive and time consuming to handle complaints from customers about product failures. In this edition of Agenda, we focus on how reliability tests can help ensure robust products. You can also read about how customer feedback can be worth gold to make your future products even better.

Stress test of cooling system in climate chamber
Both climate chamber and cooling system passed the stress test brilliantly. FORCE Technology required a series of tests of the climate chamber from the German supplier, Engie during which the outer technical boundaries were challenged to their maximum.
Are your cables CE marked correctly?
From 1 July 2017, all cables for construction works (e.g. buildings, roads, and bridges) must carry the CE mark and have a Declaration of Performance – otherwise they are not allowed on the EU market. This is further specified in the CPR – the Construction Products Regulation (EU 305/2011).
Connectors cost reliability and money
Connectors are notoriously considered the “bad boy” in the reliability class. Ensure correct robustness and reliability of the connectors in your product by means of connector reliability testing developed by DELTA.
Make use of valuable feedback from the market
Many successful companies collect data from observations and intrinsic marketing failures, analyse the data and loop the information back into the development process. But how can we become even better at making use of feedback from the market for the development of reliable products?
Acoustics experts develop new standards for building acoustic measurements
The standardisation of the measurement and rating methods used in building acoustics is an important prerequisite for the documentation of the acoustic performance of building elements or the acoustics of a building. Only through joint European or international methods can building materials manufacturers declare or CE-mark their products' properties for use in international marketing.
