Plug'n play meets cybersecurity
It is always exciting to see what the future holds. At the WHINN conference (19-23 October) DELTA and other leading healthtech experts show what is happening on the international scene for welfare technology. Here you can experience cybersecurity experts hack medical devices and learn how to guard your product so that it works in tomorrow’s plug'n play world. Listen to the future road
Noise exposure from road traffic is usually communicated using noise maps and tables. However, it can be difficult to communicate noise using words and images when it is the sense of hearing that has to assess the problem. The Danish Road Directorate has implemented a new auralisation tool that makes it easier to communicate noise scenarios to neighbours, and other stakeholders of future roads.
New working procedures will speed up the development of medical devices
A dynamic life with ongoing changes requires that you constantly are prepared for changes and can deal with them when they arise. By adapting the development processes to be more flexible, it is possible to market the products as well as strengthening the quality - but the regulatory requirements can be a challenge.
Health & Care Development on Speed?
Part II
A free-of-charge full-day and hands-on workshop for anyone wanting to energise the brain, so that we can develop the next wave of products and services for health and welfare technology.

Hear about a new fast-track for testing new products and services for the health care sector. Try Continua's test tools for interoperability and the Plug'n play lab. Meet regulatory experts and learn more about the OpenTele test infrastructure.
Metrology for Humidity at High Temperatures and Transient Conditions
1 September 2015 a new European research project commences, aiming to bring the industry one step closer to accurate humidity measurements under the most demanding conditions, i.e. at high temperatures (up to 180°C) and changing (i.e. ‘transient’) humidities.

The project is part of EMPIR (European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research), which is initiated by EURAMET (The European Association of National Metrology Institutes). The main focus area of the EMPIR projects is thus ‘metrology’ – i.e. the science of measurement.
Early, Iterative, Functional - how to develop the right medical device to actually help people
The world doesn’t need more gadgets, it needs better ways of thinking, of Design Thinking. Of working with the people it affects, and helping them to get what they can actually use, especially when it comes to healthcare and medical devices.
